Modern Psychiatry & Wellness has many services to help our patients overcome mental illness and the abuse of alcohol and other drugs.

Assessment Services
All treatment begins with an evaluation of each person, by trained clinicians, to determine the nature and extent of his/her current challenges related to mental health and/or the abuse of alcohol and other drugs. Assessment services consist of time limited, structured, face-to-face sessions. Treatment options are suggested and recommended at the end of each assessment.
Walk-in assessments are provided Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 1 PM At Our Hamilton Office.

Individual Therapy
Our therapists are trained to deliver the quality therapeutic services that you need. Individual therapists use different types of treatment to ensure that you receive the type of care you prefer and the respect you deserve.
Services are provided in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. You receive encouragement to explore your feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, improve your communication skills, increase understanding of yourself and others, set personal goals, and work towards all the changes you desire.

Group Therapy
Group Therapy Group services allows you the opportunity to learn from others with similar life circumstances and challenges. Clinicians are trained to provide services in a group setting. Groups can be provided to address the following: Mental Health, Family Recovery Group, Trauma, Anger, Impulsivity, Grief and Loss, Eating Disorders, Gambling and more. Types of groups for those in addiction recovery may include intensive outpatient program (IOP), Partial Hospitalization program (PHP), Outpatient (OP), and Relapse Prevention

Case Management
Case Management services are available to help people gain access to needed medical, social, educational and other services essential to meeting basic needs. Our Case Managers can assist with the completion of applications for rental assistance, Medicaid and Social Security. They can also refer you to agencies that can help with transportation, utility costs and employment.

Medication Management
Our Psychiatrist and Nurse Practitioners provide evaluations for medical services, and treatment for medication for mental health conditions like depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, anxiety, and ADHD. We also provide treatment of alcohol addiction, opioids, and other drugs in our medication assisted treatment programs. To assist with best prescribing success, we may administer genetic testing to better match medication options for you.

Pharmacogenetic Testing
This is a clinically focused technology that measures and analyzes important genomic variants affecting the metabolism and response to behavioral health medications in advance of making a medical decision. The results help in understanding which medications a client will metabolize and respond to best. This exclusive testing is quick, easy, and accurate.
